Vehicle sought in connection with hit-and-run collision

EDMONTON - Police are looking for help in locating a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run collision earlier this week that sent a woman to hospital with serious injuries.

The collision occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Monday, December 6. A 50-year-old woman was walking inside a marked crosswalk at the intersection of 118 Avenue and 35 Street when she was struck by a red truck.

The truck fled the scene and was last seen headed towards Yellowhead Trail.

The truck is described as a red 2002 - 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 which lost its driver's side mirror as a result of the collision.
