Bell is taking an ownership position in Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment - owner of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Toronto Marlies and Toronto FC. Bell is joining Rogers Communications Inc. to acquire a joint 75% of MLSE from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, giving both companies access to MLSE’s great sports content. The remaining 25% will be held by Kilmer Sports Inc., owned by MLSE Chair Larry Tanenbaum, who is also an NHL, MBA and MLS Governor.
