Kendriya Vidyalaya-2 celebrated the birth anniversary of Lord Baden Powell at Hathibadkala here today. The celebrations began with prayers, followed by flag hoisting to pay homage to the founder of the World Scouts Movement.
DP Mamgai, District Scouts Commissioner, was the chief guest on the occasion.
About 10 stalls were put up in the school campus. The title of the event was ‘Honest earning’.
The chief guest advised the students to become self reliant in life.
The school’s scouts in chage, MS Uniyal, supervised the arrangements.
Principle of the school Pushpa Kanaujiya was also present on the occasion.
